We will soon be able to subvert our traditional status as throwaway genetic vehicles. When Cimsies has been biologically implemented, then the very notion of tampering with our new-won "natural" condition and feeling "drugged" will come to seem perversely immoral. For who would want to contaminate the purity of their ecstatic biological soul-stuff with terrestial chemical pollutants? We still need chemical mood-enrichers until this state is fully achieved. Yet given better genes and designer drugs, there's no reason why life shouldn't just get better and better.
